Hopefully, a better result for StR Night 2.  By the way, how old is Tyreke Evans?  I forgot.

JT had a great offensive game

but he was abused in the paint, much like Spencer and Landry.

There was a lot but they tried to get the M-V-P chant going but our booes were clouding it pretty well. It was a lot worse after the game mainly in the parking lot. Good thing I have grown up a little bit or there would have mayhem in the parking lot. I was sitting about 3 rows behind the Laker bench with a B-Jax jersey on I haven’t bought a jersey in years but I had to represent somehow.

If the rumors are true that Memphis offered Thabeet-Mayo for Ellis, Golden State is the worst front office ever.

They work together a lot better in that offense than Reke/Martin did in this offense.

That’s the bottom line. Good trade for both teams, and if Yao returns for the Rox, it will be a great trade for them. Depending on how the Kings use their cap space, it could be a great trade for them too.

Martin is going to be a great fit – it’s tough to stop him and Brooks and Scola. I really like Martin, and his D wasn’t that bad against Denver. Add in a healthy Yao, and who knows.

Landry needs a big rebounding center behind him

He is a good man to man defender of other power forwards but Bynum was killing us. To be honest if Bynum had more playing time we would have lost by 20. Again not Landry’s fault but Spencer/JT next to Landry will not work against teams with actual BIG men.

COUSINS

Sure would have been nice to have Landry & Cousins go against Gasol & Bynum. If you look at just his basketball talent he is the best big in college ball & a future all-star big in the NBA as long as he keeps himself in check.

To recap the Laker reporter question to Paul Westphal ( I am paraphrasing from memory)

What do you think of Ron Artest shutting down Tyreke Evans tonight?

Westphal: Well, Tyreke missed some layups that he would’ve missed anyway, I think Ron would admit to that and let’s see – he had 25 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists. If that is shutting him down I hope he gets shut down every game.

Sounded like a vintage Marty Mac question to me

That’s how he rolls.

Now, if the question was, “Do you ever get lost in Sasha’s eyes,” well, that would be Ailene.

Gonna miss you, Sam.

Maybe I'm in the minority

But having established NBA stars compliment Tyreke does nothing for me. I see the kid play, I know he’s great. I don’t need to hear what Devin Harris thinks of him.

Ehh, I think it says more about me as a fan than anything

I don’t like to be force fed anything. That’s all part of having a superstar on your team. I started to resent CWebb for kind of the same reason. I’ve always been happier as a fan trying to convince my friends a King was good. I think that’s why I loved Speed so much.

Do you mean in the sense that since he's not with the Bee anymore...

he will l have a less direct influence on the King’s franchise by not having the mouthpiece that the Bee provides?

Does the fact that he’ll be working for Fanhouse means that his opinion is easier to dismiss by people such as Grant Napear?
