I just don’t get how the whole thing got started. Like, even with non-objectifying stuff in juinor high and high school. The vast majority of people I know, male and female, would just get annoyed with the chants. I mean, do we really need to hear a few people yell recycled chants about defense when we really just want to watch the game? Another thing that’s interesting is the fact that cheerleaders don’t exist in women’s sports. Apparently women don’t need people cheering for them…?

I went to Europe after graduating high school, so I was 18 which is the drinking age there (though they NEVER check ID…) and I was so excited to be able to legally order drinks. Haha. So lame, but at the time it was awesome.

I went about a month after graduation…I landed in Paris on the 4th of July. I had wine in Paris, beer in Germany, and various drinks everywhere else. It was awesome, though it got kind of expensive and I’m really not that much of a drinker. Still great though.

I wish I could go to games more often. I live pretty close, but have no money at all. Haha. So I mean, I could afford the $10 tickets, but throw in parking and food and gas and it can get kind of expensive. Plus, the $10 tickets are the worst ones so that wouldn’t do me much good. Maybe next year I’ll be able to, though with school I kind of doubt it…

Yeah, Santa Cruz is in a great area. I was just in Monterey this week for spring break. We schedule our spring break about St. Patty’s Day to get students out of town because there has been so much trouble in the past….haha. It was a proud moment when I realized that was why our spring break is so early in the semester…

The Bucks had a wee bit of luck in this game
1. Tyreke misses most of crunch time and all of overtime with a broken face.
2. Ilyasova hits a miracle three to tie it in regulation.
3. Brandon Jennings throws up a couple of wild threes that miss so badly they carom off crazily to Salmons who converts both.
4. Salmons hits a lucky bank shot.
5. Brandon Jennings moves drags his pivot foot about two feet without a call and Salmons hits a three.
P.S. Do Omri Casspi and Donté Greene still play for the Kings?

With all due respect, I have a different perspective...
. Tyreke misses most of crunch time and all of overtime with a broken face.
I admit that I was watching another program during the Kings’ game, but I did check back periodically for the score and for StR posts to keep up with the game.
I checked the game with 1:20 left in regulation, coincidentally the same time as reported in the Bee this morning. At that time the score showed Sacramento leading by 7 points, 91-84. I was pretty confident that we would win the game with that lead. Paul Westphal and the players were all sporting smiles during a time out.
I checked back again to see Tyreke being led off the court, his mouth bleeding. At that point, I believe there was only about 24 or so seconds remaining on the clock and Kings were only up by 2 points. So, Tyreke did not miss very much of crunch time in regulation, and the Kings had already given up 5 points of their lead at that point with Tyreke in the game.
I don’t know what would have happened had Tyreke not been injured. But, the team was leading by 7 points with 1 minute 20 seconds remaining. Most of that lead was gone by the time Tyreke was injured. Tyreke did not miss out on very much crunch time in regulation. The game was the Kings to lose in regulation.
