Around SBN: Indy 500: 'Greatest Spectacle In Racing' Set For Sunday

A great example from last year's draft that I blew at the time: Memphis' Tyreke Evans could get to any spot he wanted. This was obvious in college, and it's painfully obvious now. I got caught up in dueling issues with him -- "Is he a point guard or a shooting guard?" and "Why was he the driver in the getaway car of a shooting? -- and missed the basic reality of the Tyreke Evans Era. Namely, that none of the other crap mattered. The dude gets to the rim whenever he wants. I am still kicking myself.

Nice to see

that he admitted to getting caught up. You’re forgiven.

BS wasn't the only one.

And that controversy was exactly why the Kings were able to get Reke at 4. If you’re confused by this, I’m working on a Chapu piece. This will be another piece I’ll work on at some point (over the weekend probably since I’m thinking about it).

Well let's hope history repeats itself this year...

…it’s painfully obvious that Cousins is a perfect big man to play with Tyreke and Co. for years to come. Hopefully his ‘character’ issues will allow him to be available at the time the Kings pick Can lightning strike twice? Let’s hope so.

I was indeed worried

He might turn out to be a larry hughes/John Salmons.
Those worries aren’t completely gone yet but . . . .

He's better than Hughes or Salmons ever were.
