The Zoidberg syndrome, Kings tried but still failed

"It's just like the story of the grasshopper and the octopus. All year long, the grasshopper kept burying acorns for winter, while the octopus mooched off his girlfriend and watched TV. But then the winter came, and the grasshopper died, and the octopus ate all his acorns. Also he got a race car. Is any of this getting through to you?"

Help. I didn't see the game.

Perhaps I was lucky. Was Hawes injured? How come Garcia and Omri didn’t play much?

Hawes fell and aggravated his back.

Cisco had aggravated his wrist.

Omri aggravated Westpahl.

Thanks for the answers, and thank you 214 for making me laugh after another L.

If it makes anyone feel better, the Lakers got absolutely thrashed tonight.

I missed it three.

Nice to see the guys played so well without Hawes, Cisco, and Omri. I guess Landry is really taking it to hard that he was traded for Martin, putting up 30 points.

I'm not celebrating the Nets winning so much as I'm happy they won't break the 73 Sixers record.

I’m tired of hearing about that record already.

From a Kings fan in Boston

I got the priveledge to go to the game tonight and it was a great time. It seems as if without Tyreke we really have no offense. When the pressure’s on, we force dumb shots and have terrible ball movement. Got to witness history tonight… Rondo has most steals in Celtics history. Overall I am surprised that it was only an 8 point game. I got to see JT and Carl Landry and get their autographs before the game though, so it was a great night! Donte looks WAY bigger in person than in pictures. AND Jon Brockman is an @sshole for refusing to sign anything.

I'm hoping we can pull out three more wins

looking at the boxscore

Pedestrian loss for the Kings. They were expected to lose and they accommodated.

on the other fronts: Pacers get respect for winning, big DISrespect for winning at the worst time. Same with 6ers. The Pistons must be in tank mode. It is bad.Flipping Pistons.

Glad to see Top Hat with 30 and 8. Beno with 16 and 12. Donte with the disappoint. JT with fouling out in 20 min. Italian/Irish with the start. Ime with the impressive 6 boards. Noce with 1-5 shooting. Looks like they are a Natt-ed up team without Tyreke.

Was the game even close?

by betweentheeyes on Mar 26, 2010 10:15 PM PDT reply actions

I only catched the second half

but it looked like Boston did most of the damage in the 1st quarter, and after that the Kings hel their own. A couple food runs in the 4th cut it to within 6 but a couple boards and buckets didn’t go our way.

I guess I started bad and got better…

Basically that's what happened.

Boston brought in the end of their bench and the Kings came back by keeping their starters in.

thanks PG

this is my weekend in LA. Staples is crazy – JayZ concert. We walked down there for dinner (lots of restaurants down there now, we had dinner @ Flemings) and I think I got a breath/contact high.

Kings are looking solemn and sad. Reke v. Pacers looks to be a hope. Current squad against Cavs – any predictions on the Sports book line? (Kings -14?)

we have MustangMBS

and Tyreke in the stable (also Landry and Beno). Now the Kings need a lucky horseshoe.

One last thought for tonight: Why do they say Nets no longer the worst team? With 9 wins, tying for worst is still “the worst”.
