On a personal level, I feel that after 60 games my body is already beginning to signal cumulative fatigue. The fatigue is both physical and mental. I really try to rest as much as possible in order to refresh and get my energy back, and clean up and prepare for the next game, but it's really very difficult. I have never been in a situation like this (playing so many games). Sometimes it has been difficult to get up off the bench after a Time Out.
I have to give a last hard push towards the end of the season. After this season I see how demanding the NBA is. I see how much you need to prepare for the long season and how experienced players know how to pace themselves.
I need to learn from them. I believe in the end it will be fine.

Sorry, my first Fanshot ever and somehow the link to Casspi's website got lost...
I hope this works now… but the url is:

Dunking Dutchman
TZ or 214 probably fixed it is why.

I'm not sure Donald Sterling is a human being. He had to have been manufactured by someone, possibly David Stern, so that one team could solely just make profit for the NBA while doing nothing good for themselves. -- Aykis 16
"Soft," right Grant?
You don’t have the balls, carrot top.
Rocks are free, and slingshots easily stolen.
Sorry, andy
didn’t realize you beat me to it.
And of course he has no balls. He’s howdy doody all grown up. Dummies like that have no balls.
The things is
He’s one of the few youngs to say it out loud, but you know all of our rooks feel similar. This gives me a lot of hope for what things will be like with another year under our belt and rookies turning into sophomores.
"And I never said I don’t like KMart. I just don’t think the duo is good for the team. They are essentially two of the same player"

Less minutes
I have noticed PW playing our rookies less minutes… The rookie wall would explain that and I really didn’t put 2+2 together, but this would explain more use of Ime. It also seems that Omri’s shooting fall off a bit in the second half of the game.
Also, seems like Tyreke gets a fair amount of rest, seems like more now, in the middle of the game and his main focus is coming out and finishing strong.
An important part of training, in addition to practice and conditioning is...
Rest.
Casspi has been very busy this season with not only his BB responsibilities, but also the distractions and commitments of being the first Israeli player.
To be the best, you have to do your best. Otherwise, you are only second-rate.
A lot less bounce in his step
On his outside shot he isn’t elevating quite as much on those tired legs. I think he’ll really go after some more weight and conditioning this summer.
Go to Thorpe, go to Doug Christie’s program young man.
Don’t take the summer off like JT and Hawes did.

Yeah, his production has tailed off, lately.
I think he has the right attitude and commitment to improve. And I think he will go to summer league.
I was wondering if thes matter affects foreign players more than college rookies. And Casspi wasn’t logging heavy minutes at Maccabi, most of the time. Here he had a long string of games with 30+ minutes, IIRC.
There was this program about him on the Israeli Tv where he said how in israel you would play, celebrate the victory for 2 or 3 days, and then get ready for the next game. In the NBA, you play many back to back games, and even if you have one night off, you have to travel distances from one game to the next. he wasn’t complaining, but it was clear it waas affecting him.

They rarely play more than once a week in europe
and the distances aren’t as far – not even close. Plus all the excitement and appearances he’s making around the league, getting up early to give interviews for Israili media. . . .

That was his excuse in summer league
That he ‘may have’ rested too much and not worked on his body enough.
But I wasn’t there

No what he was saying was he did the wrong type of conditioning
If you remember in Summer League, he looked like he had gained quite a bit of muscle and he wasn’t used to all the weight. He needs to do more conditioning and less weight lifting. Hawes is the one who needs the weight lifting (lower body especially).

Upper body, too.
His arms have virtually no definition. They look like girl arms.

I bet his arms have more definition than you
I hate how people rag on these athletes and tell them what to do when most of us can’t do the half of it.

That muscles on women aren't sexy?

show this to any NCAA-philes
who say the players try harder and care more in college. Pros are killing themselves yearly with the NBA schedule.

College players don't try harder,
but if they attend USC, they get paid better.
