The story makes me think more of
How come GP couldn’t find a decent deal for K9? I know we joke about Maynor but he could have been a nice addition to our team. I just feel the last few years of trades have been really disappointing.
I love beating dead horses.
The team couldn't lose any more money.
OKC knew it was going to have a great shot at getting some playoff revenue. The Kings on the other hand, needed the KTEC more than just about anyone else.
Your probably right but it doesn't make me feel any better
Makes me feel worse actually. This ownership needs to realize they have to spend money to make money. I’m not talking bad free agent signings but cleverly aquiring young talent like Portland & OKC would be nice. There is a reason why Portland still competes when they are cursed with injuries.

Portland still competes cuz they have a lot of talent.
Some of that talent was acquired through FA as well.

ESPN just doesn't know because they're too busy thinking they run the universe.

And that's because a lot of people
keep thinking what they say it’s important. It ain’t changing of course

I spend little to no time thinking about ESPN.
The only place I consider worthwhile is Truehoop and it’s subsidiaries.

I do read a lot of ESPN
but I’ve learned to understand what’s important and what’s not. I’ve learned to balance the info. I think it’s a great source of rumors and breaking news, I can appreciate that part. I can also appreciate some of the commentary and analysis when it enhances something I already know.
I just never let it be the starting point of my basketball knowledge (as little as that knowledge may be). Like I said in the other ROY thread, I don’t need them to tell what is and what isn’t, I can make that decision by myself. A lot of people need validation from national media to believe in something and I can understand that because I used to be that way. I can proudly say that StR changed that, and it’s certainly for the better.

I stopped believing in national validation a long time ago.
What changed with me and StR is how global this fanbase was (I really had no idea it WAS THIS global), and I adjusted my views on fandom.
Opinions are always good. And that’s one thing StR got a whole hell of a lot of as you know Eddie.
