PrintDuring the Questions for Geoff Petrie, a few people asked about possible Alternate jerseys or bringing back the old road blacks. I sent Andrew Nicholson a message letting him know that a lot of Kings fans would like to see the team wear some throwbacks and/or alts next year (particularly the road blacks). He said he would pass it on.
Today I received a follow-up and I've received the permission to announce it to you guys. Here are his exact words:
1) The Kings will be participating in Hardwood Classic night next season, wearing a throwback uniform.
2) The team is working on an alternate jersey. More info to be announced next season.
So there you have it. Discuss. What uniforms would you like to see? Any ideas for the alternates?

This black jersey was the best we had, I’m still not sure why we went away with it. It also coincided with our best run as a team so I say bring it back to stay. As for throw back night, give me the pure blue kings jerseys (not powder).

When I play road games on live I only where the road blacks, bring them back!! Good memories of the kings in that jersey.

The question is - How much more black can this jersey be? The answer is, none more black.
And absolutely love that uni.
The answer is no - once black they don't go back.
The same can be true for the black jerseys. Let’s make the change and don’t look back. Black is a power color and therefore gives a greater psychological advantage over the color purple.

There has to be some purple….
Put Purple in one or more of the following:
1) The collar
2) The lettering
3) In the underarm triangle area. Either Purple and black or Purple and white.
Just in case anyone making the decision is reading this. Road blacks = I will prepay for an authentic Reke13 jersey.

I think you need to clarify for some people that the black jersey in this picture is a fictional creation, not an actual example of a new jersey that the Kings will be using next season. A badass fictional creation that is hopefully close to what they end up having, but entirely fictional for now. Some of the commenters here seem to think otherwise.

New Uniforms
I would liike to see silver or gray uniform because that’s our colors anyway.. I understand gold but we’d look to much like the Fakers so gray will work.
They definitely need a uniform refresh
I was just noticing last night how clean and modern the OKC Thunder uniforms are… whoever did their branding was top notch. I have always loved the Kings’ baby blues but the current uniforms with that absurd typeface they use for the “Sacramento” on the front are not good.
I vote for modernizing the baby blues or using a modern matte purple or black and home whites with an updated, cleaner logo… this is a new Kings era and the look needs to be redone. Get the people who did the Thunder branding.

I post the jpg of this program because it has a uniform and from a historical standpoint has some interesting information. It would be fun to see the current team dressed with belts and black lace ups but I don’t want to see Jerry Reynolds get disoriented and start sporting the two handed set shot.

They'll find a way to screw it up
The black jersey’s are the way to go but I doubt they’ll get it right. They’ll probably go with the Royals jersey just to be cute.
Love the edited black version, even the 2000 black jersey’s would be sick. They should have multiple lack jersey nights. That would be sick! They could make some money on selling the black jersey’s as well.
