Post-Game Thread: Trail Blazers at Kings
Tough loss, but Blazers did a good job on Reke and Kings couldn't hit their Freebies. Tyreke is definitely going to have to earn 20/5/5 now, because he's 1 point behind pace, and we're not exactly playing creampuff defensive teams for the last 5 games. JT was pretty awesome though by the way. Perhaps his future is at the Center? --Aykis16

I never expected
Reke to possibly come up short on points. I always thought there was a chance with rebounds or assists, but not points.

Me too. I didn't think points was going to be a problem for him either.

I don't think they will be.

He only needs 10 boards now.
That’s what’s really interesting.

He's got the boards easy
I think he has points too, but he can’t have any more sub-par scoring games, and he probably needs to throw in a 30 point game in there just for fun.
Houston is the key. Battier is out possibly for the rest of the regular season but there’s a chance he could come back, we’ll see. If he’s available, that’s not good for Reke. If he’s not, that would be a great game for Reke to dominate, although Ariza is a pretty good defender himself, he’s no Battier, and Houston isn’t too imposing inside without Yao.
Grandmaster of the "Never let AnotherStupidSN forget what a Sham-Wow is" Order and Originator of the "Brock Ness Monster".
It certainly looks like that Houston game
might decide things for ’Reke
I’m optimistic though that he will get it.

If the L>>>>s have clinched their position
that game could be good
There are some guys smarter than me, some guys better looking, I take comfort in the fact that there is no guy that is both.
The Clipps game may be another where Tyreke puts up another good scoring night.
Hell, SA could be one of those nights. Either way, Aykis, I’m not all that interested in the 20 5 5 stat line he may put up. I’m interested in how he plays.

I'd like the 20/5/5
just the icing on a pretty fun season.

By the way
I loved how Tyreke didn’t try to go and score on that last possession and instead just dribbled the ball out.

I think a 101 point,
10 board game against the Spurs would seal up the ROY nicely. :)

Is how a career 51.1% FT shooter hit 28/32 free throws. Literally everything went right for Wilt that night. Incredible accomplishment. Absolutely incredible.

Or even 110
That way he would have twice the points of Brandon Jennings’ rookie best. But on the same number of shots.

Will He?
Will Evans get the 20-5-5? What does everyone think?

I think he needs to get 101 points in the next 5 games.

I think
that the Kings will do whatever they gotta do to get the “record” for him. If that means taking 75 shots on the last game, they’ll do it.
This.
This is my feeling as well. The entire organization and fanbase would take a lot of pride in 20-5-5.

I think Team Tyreke really pushes for him to do it.
So he should be able to get it with ease. He’s only a point off, averaging 19.985 I believe. So barring any freak injury, he’s got it I the bag as long as he goes out and plays his game.

Im glad to see Noce come up with a solid game.
12 pts, 4 rebs, 2assists, 3-9 FG, 2-4 from 3, and 4-4 from FT.
Still wish we won tho…

Put it this way...
I play in a rec league…and Im exactly like Noce. Im a 5’11" SF who sometimes plays PF and even a little C, plays scrappy defense half the time and fouls like hell the other half, I can hit 3 straights threes and miss 5 straight threes all in the same game…
Noce is me on a world class stage…
