The old dude front and center in the Peachquel shirt is Section214
Behind him to our right, his left, is ExhibitG, also in a Peachquel shirt

now that you mention it

I had a full head of hair when the Kings arrived in Sacramento. I think the fall out began when Bill Russell starting running things. Or maybe it was acquiring Derek Smith. Or Ralph Sampson. Or Pervis Ellison. Or Bobby Hurley’s accident. Or…

I think that explains the deadlocks.

I do think you are bit drunk with the photoshop. Next you will have me in jean shorts next to LeBron’s Mom. (mo-fo Kings fan is a King mo-fo). This thing with Delonte West is a head shaker but isn’t it a bit weird that this has become public knowledge? A gentleman keeps his private business private. LeBron’s Mom the tattler?

by betweentheeyes on May 20, 2010 1:15 PM PDT up reply actions

I think this is how it went down...

Delonte shows up at Lebron’s house to hang out. He knocks on the door, and Lebron’s mom opens it, wearing a lacy pink nighty.

“Lebron’s not home,” she says.

“That’s too bad, we were supposed to work on some shooting drills together,” he replies

They lock eyes and Mrs. James says passionately, “I got something you can drill”

I'm nursing a bit of a hangover, and this whole thread really made me laugh

So thanks for that everyone. Haha. Also, in case you’re wondering, the hangover would be due to partying until late last night to celebrate finishing finals. I finished around 1pm and went out to drinks with people from my class, then met up with some friends for a sort-of birthday celebration for me because my birthday is on Saturday which is when various people graduate so we celebrated early. Anyway. More or less being at the bars from 1pm til about 1am will tend to make you a bit hungover the next day. So there’s that story for ya.

When I first looked at the picture, I counted the five women and was kind of confused, but at least two of them aren’t StR members…so if I were to come to an StR night next season, there might only be like two or three other women there…oh well. It looks like there’s a big age range which is cool. StR appeals across generations! Haha. Is there any information about future StR nights? I assume not, since the schedule won’t be set for a while…

We'll probably do one game over the winter holidays

That allows some of the out of town members to perhaps attend. The 2nd game will come later in the year. We are going to try to arrange to catch a Warriors or L*kers game on at least one of these two occasions – kind of a “Take Back ARCO!” night.

I remember someone saying something about trying for one around the winter holidays

But had forgotten. Sorry! I’d actually probably be able to do one then, since I get about 6 weeks off for winter break. Of course, I’m planning on visiting a friend in Florida for a while then, and I don’t know if I’ll be working and if so, how flexible it’ll be, but I’ll definitely try to go. Seems like a fun time :) Although, I gotta say, I find it quite funny that no one seems to know who everyone in the picture is. I’m guessing at least half of them are unaccounted for. Haha.

That's because people dont' readily identify themselves and sometimes don't say much. Also, it was awhile ago.

And some of them might not have identified themselves yet. Also, some of the members are already known from StR 1. It’s kinda weird though in a way. Your right on that.

Were you there pookey?

It definitely seems like it would be kind of weird at first, to actually meet everyone in person. But I’d think it would get more relaxed as time went on, especially if alcohol was involved. Haha.

I was at StR 1 but not at the Peachquel.

I’m not in the picture from StR1 because I showed up late. Sigh….

I enjoy the love here at StR

Also, out of curiosity, who came up with the Peachquel? It’s kind of fantastic.
