Sactown 2 Toronto =

Kings get- 13th pick, Marcus Banks, Reggie Evans
With the 5th pick, we take Cousins who I think would make Landry expandable seeing as how both would need the paint to operate. I would like to see Hawes get a chance to play the 4, he's a 21yr old skilled big man, in the Nowitzki/Gasol catagory. Then with the 13th pick I would take Xavier Henry, but we could also look at Avery Bradley. Banks & Evans make less than Noc & Landry would make + they go into their last year next season.
Toronto gets- 33rd pick, Carl Landry (Low-post scoring when Bosh leaves), Nocioni
They get a sure replacement for Bosh and they get rid of 2 unwanted contracts. And Noc is a clear update over Evans, a great back-up to Hedu & Landry, + they seem to love international players.
Draft/Trade Recap:
5th- Demarcus Cousins C.,13th- Xavier Henry SG., Marcus Banks G., Reggie Evans PF.
Roster -
PG. Reke - Beno - Banks
SG. Henry - Garcia
SF. Greene - Casspi
PF. JT - Hawes - Evans - Brockman
C. Cousins - Hawes

need contract details
how much and how long are the contracts of toronto players involved? can’t evaluate proposed trade without complete picture. Plus, I assume Raps will get something for Bosh in sign-and-trade, thus you can’t determine if they’d have any interest without knowing who they get in that scenario.

Sorry i couldn’t read past this
Could some of you maybe use a condom once in a while?
Why not?
His role as a high-post player basically makes him a 4 anyway, JT & Cousins can work the post and defend the 5.
KINGS WILL BE 10-11 CHAMPIONS
I'm already scared about him having to defend centers down in the post
I would be really scared having him match up on D on forwards who are able to face up and drive to the rim.
And I don’t think your trade here is necessarily horrid for the Kings. I am not sure but i am assuming that Evans and Banks contracts are both up this year. If that is the case, I have to wonder why the Raptors would be willing to take on more long term money in Nocioni and get rid of a lottery pick just so they can guarantee themselves one year of Landry.

What I don't like about the deal
You’re going to basically pay $10 million this year for Evans and Banks – that’s an awfully steep price for the #13 pick. Meanwhile, Landry has more value versus his contract than Noc has liability versus his contract. I mean, Landry and Noc are probably $11-$12 million worth of basketball players (combined) currently makiing $10 million (combined).
I think that you are giving up way too much and taking on way too much to secure the #13 pick.

nope
i don’t see why Landry and Cousins couldn’t play together. very different games and besides have you seen the lakers : gasol, bynum, odom, artest. plenty of post players with no problem.
gasol and Nowitzki seem like very different players to me and neither remind me of hawes. can’t see him rolling over to the 4 spot.
I don’t see any of this post improving the kings
I said very skilled big men
& Hawes is a mix in between both he shoots the long ball and works the high-post.
KINGS WILL BE 10-11 CHAMPIONS
I think Landry andcousins are an excellent pair

With Bosh
Likely leaving T.O., his impending free agency means that they will likely NOT trade the 13th pick. I actually asked Colangelo that yesterday when I walked by him in the city.
may not be as good
but cheaper and possibility of developing
Still waiting for the Euler of basketball to play for the Kings
If it makes Landry expandable
Can we keep him and expand him to 7 feet?
There are some guys smarter than me, some guys better looking, I take comfort in the fact that there is no guy that is both.
Im thinking Landry and Boce are worth more than a 13th pick plus 2 role players
who won’t crack most team’s starting five.
Landry could start for maybe a third of the NBA’s teams while Noce would probably crack the starting five of teams like the Wiz, Nets, Sixers, maybe a couple more teams.
There can only be one Noce!
Holy sheet. I just spelled Noce out as Boce. I guess I do want Bosh here.
There can only be one Noce!
Or that B and N are right next to each other on my keyboard.
Just saying.
There can only be one Noce!
NoceOne! has returned for public consumption......

2 contracts we dont want?
Ya we don’t want Noce’s contract, but if we didn’t want Landry’s contract we wouldn’t have picked up his contract.
This is a terrible deal, why would we give up Landry, and the 5th pick just for some bench guys we’ll never play, the 13th pick and losing a contract?

Isn't this a proposed idea from the Raptors point of view?
OOOooohhh, I see, I was reading this from the wrong angle. I thought you were copying and pasting from the raptors site or something. Now I feel dumb.

Probably better than doing nothing.
This seems to me to be about the right price for a late lottery pick. We give contracts with overall good value, with our best player traded being a sixth man of the year type… extremely valuable off the bench but probably not ideally suited to start due to his defensive limitations.
It would feel like a bit of a shame to use our cap space this way (what!? no Lebron?!), but I feel like there’s a good chance of Petrie doing very little with the cap space, and this might be better than doing nothing— a late lottery pick in this draft could end up being a very nice long-term asset.
However, as pointed out above, if Toronto loses Bosh, they’ll probably be looking to rebuild, which means they might not be looking to trade away lottery picks or add Nocionis.
