Ron Artest was nice enough to join me Thursday night in the midst of the series with Phoenix.

Its been a while since we spoke on the air, which is fine. He's really locked in right now, and I get the overwhelming sense that the dude is just trying to get a ring, and not get involved in the weird stuff.

Unfortunately for him, being in LA, in the middle of the increasingly volatile NBA circus associated with the deeper waters of the NBA playoffs, it can't be an easy task to stay normal.

As he says in the interview though, he's just trying to be himself, and damn everything else. Dare I say, he's all grows up now.

It was good to catch up. I'm probably posting this in the wrong place, but enjoy the audio anyway.
