If Minnesota takes Derrick Favors or DeMarcus Cousins in the draft, they will likely need to trade either Kevin Love or Al Jefferson. Jefferson has a tough contract to move, but Kevin Love is still cheap and highly productive. He fits the mold of a Petrie big in that he can pass and continues to develop an outside shot. He is a Top 5 rebounder in the NBA. He does not solve the Kings post defense issues, but as Synergy Sports Possession statistics show below, he is an underrated defender.
Here are some Synergy Sports possession statistics of last season. I took the Hawes and Thompson information from the recent SacTown Royalty Posts on their defensive metrics, but don't have access to the full data set to fill in the blanks.

Warning: Any insinuation that Kevin Love is no more valuable than the Brock-Ness Monster will be met with scorn and rebuke!
