Another wild-ass trade scenario
If Cousins slips to 5, I am inclined to take him; however, if Petrie isn't crazy about him (and I could see that very well being the case), we might be in a position to deal him and pick up another asset.
The teams below us in the draft (Warriors and Pistons) might be very interested in him and might part with some assets to move up or take on a bad contract or two.
In the Dubs case, I could see them parting with someone like Brandon Wright or even Anthony Randolph if we threw another player in (and they really wanted Cousins--which might not be the case). Say Cousins and Donte Greene for Anthony Randolph and Aminu. With AR and Aminu, we would all of a sudden be pretty athletic.
With Detroit there really is no player on their roster that I am crazy about, but we could offload Noc or Garcia's contracts and move down a few spots and still get Aminu or Johnson. TIf Petrie didn't see much difference between the two, that might be making the best of a bad hand (thanks Stern).
For instance, if we are left with Aminu, Wes Johnson, Greg Monroe, et al., I might be inclined to move down and dump Noc.
What say you StR? Would you gamble a little and move down if the guy you really want isn't there (not really Petrie's style, I know, but this is end of the bar chatter)?

4 years and 49 million I think.
Not as bad as Brand’s, but certainly not ideal really.

For a second there I thought our pick (cousins), cisco, and noce for their pick, bg, and bynum, or something along those lines

The only gordon I would switch picks for
is Eric Gordon.

Eric Gordon + Reke is the best to me
Cause Gordon can D up those PGs like Curry can only dream of
Screw you Knicks! LBJ to the Kings!!!
What about OJ Mayo - the Griz have 3 draft picks
Do you imagine that they are thinking of dealing to move up? (they have 12, 25, 28) (Mini is 4, 16, 23). Teams without draft picks: Knicks, Bobcats. Any deals there?
Wouldn't mind dealing with Grizz/Twolves/OKC and pick up...
Avery Bradley and Kevin Seraphin. Seraphin can play center and he almost measures the same as Cousins, but in much better shape.
Has anyone noticed that Pittman is the only one fatter than Cousins? Thought I mention this b/c of the work ethic question in regards to Cousins.

I would deal the 5th pick to Memphis for OJ Mayo by itself I think.
But if we were able to get Mayo and the 12th, that’s easy. Mayo and Tyreke would be fantastic in the backcourt together. Tyreke can slash, Mayo can shoot, both can take turns handling the ball.

Ionno if I'd do it straight up for #5
I’d also swap our #33 for their #25 (cause #12 is probably pushing it)

Not a big fan of Mayo (even though I totally get your point Aykis)
But I’d rather get a frontcourt player with the 5th pick.

Any deal with the Pistons needs to involve the Swede

"The Kings will get a top 3 pick in the 2010 draft. Book it!"
Meh
Jerebko seems to me like he doesn’t have very much upside. He’ll be consistent, but I doubt we’ll see his numbers go up too much in the future.

i highly doubt the dubs would trade AR to move up one spot in the draft
