I can't wait for us to draft Wesley Johnson

and have him play at Cox Pavilion. We can have Dick’s Sporting Goods sponsor our practice jerseys.

What's the over/under

on how many games SH plays?

As a 4th year player?

Zero. I can’t wait for people to bag on Hawes for not playing summer league, in spite of the fact that there will very likely be no 4th year players playing in summer league.

Well

Let’s not pretend Spencer didn’t deserve some of that criticism.

The criticism is well deserved

However, 4th year players do not play in summer league.

Hawes gives us enough ammunition – we don’t have to start looking for ridiculous reasons to be upset with him.

Well, let's hope he does something

to improve his game during the offseason.

For what its worth

Spencer was at the Practice Facility working out with some of the other guys (Jason, Beno, Donté, Brock, Cisco) when I went to the big man workout.

Are they going to let us watch online like last year?

Albeit for a price…
Also, do we expect JT on the team along w/ Donte and Reke?

I would expect Reke and Donte

Not so sure about JT

by lodisacfan on Jun 15, 2010 12:31 PM PDT up reply actions

Why would you expect Reke?

Rookies of the Year don’t tend to play in the Summer League, especially when he’ll be training with Team USA. I think we’ll see JT, Donté, Omri, Brockman, and #5 and #33, also possibly Ryan Thompson if he goes undrafted (I doubt it though).

by Aykis16 on Jun 15, 2010 12:40 PM PDT up reply actions

Yep, no Reke

He will be in town with Team USA auditions later in July, but the word has been he won’t play VSL.

JT and Té are almost sure things, Omri depends on if he’s playing in Eurobasket qualifiers, Brockman if he’s signed, the picks and a slew of minor leaguers and undrafted rookies.

I jumped the gun and only shot my foot once

I have already purchased airfare and booked hotel for the second weekend of play. I bought a ticket for Saturday July 17th on the first day available – not knowing when and if the Kings would play. I am heading back Sunday night and can’t stay for the Sunday night 17:30 game.
Anyone else going? I believe SB & LPA took a visit last year, don’t know if they plan a return. If anyone else will be in attendence let me know maybe we can grab a bite or something. Ms. bte will be joining as well to LVNV but she does not plan on attending Saturday hoops with me (I bought one ticket only).
I would like to see the Kings but will make time for johnson and favors…Viva Las Vegas!

well lets check out the POSSIBLE rookies that we will be playing against:

Detroit: Greg Monroe, Al-Farouq Aminu, possibly DeMarcus Cousins

Minnesota: Wesley Johnson, slightly slightly possible Evan Turner

Toronto+Chicago: Hassan Whiteside, Patrick Patterson, Ed Davis, Cole Aldrich
