Heat willing to sell 18th pick for capspace
Like trading down, but better. This is pretty much what we have our cap room for.

18th for 33rd pick?
save Heat the salary guarantee of a 1st round pick. Can’t imagine we’d pay cash for it like other teams might be able to offer.

Would love for us to go after this pick.
Then take one of either Bradley, Bledsoe, Alabi, Seraphin, Whiteside or Williams.
Bledsoe would be awesome here.

I would love to see Petrie pick up another first rounder this year
Especially because this draft is all over the place and after the top 5 I think its fairly loaded with decent role players. Plus, after the top 5 its anybody’s guess as to what the order is. DX has Bradley going 18th. But he could be gone in the late lottery, or fall a little lower. Should be a fun evening

Definitely on board with grabbing this pick
Looking at their contracts, they likely want to move some combination of Beasley, Jones, and Cook. The latter two would definitely fill a needed 3pt specialist niche for us, while the former is the low risk, high reward variety. I’d definitely want to acquire any of those 3 as players for our team, let alone as add-ons to a mid 1st round pick.
Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes. Let’s get it done, and make my Avery Bradley dreams come true.
Screw you Knicks! LBJ to the Kings!!!
It actually has partial guarantees, regardless of when he is waived by
Screw you Knicks! LBJ to the Kings!!!
As per Shamsports, if he is waived by the end of this month, each of the next 3 years is about $2m per year
if he is not waived by end of this month, his full contract stands.
Screw you Knicks! LBJ to the Kings!!!
Sweet
Favors falls #5 than buy this pick to get Whiteside. The roster would be loaded with big men instead of swing players for once.
The possibilities
We could use a lot of players who would fall in that range. James Anderson would be a great pick for this team.
i have been coveting that 18th pick for a while
if petrie isnt going to go after any big free agents this summer, i see no problems with buying it as long as we see someone we want available
I would go after it if any of the following players were still on the board:
Paul George, Xavier Henry, James Anderson, Avery Bradley, Hassan Whiteside, Patrick Patterson
or I would even be willing to buy the pick and then trade it to OKC for the 21+32 or 26+32
