Pacers looking for a PG
We could perhaps entice them with Beno and pickup the 10th pick in the process. I'm not sure if they actually would want Beno or if we would want to part with him.
What about Beno + Cisco for Troy Murphy plus the 10th?
Trade
Beno + Donte for TJ Ford also works.

Kings looking for a PG

I tend to agree
But the 10 would allow us to try out some interesting prospects. Xavier Henry has been mentioned. We could go big with Whiteside or Aldrich. Maybe a PG like Bledsoe.
I like Beno, but not sure how he fits in long term. He is certainly the best we have currently, but is that enough going forward? Just throwing out ideas.
Pacers have already been in talks for
Ty Lawson and Jonny Flynn. Both trade talks washed up

TJ Ford
is a deal killer.
As for Beno + Cisco for Troy Murphy plus the 10th, we’d have to find someone who wants Murphy to do a three-way with. and suddenly we’d have no SGs on the roster. I’d like to get Xavier Henry, but keep Beno until he develops.
That 18th pick the Heat is dangling could also be used for a guard.
"I know we certainly gave up a lot to get him, but we do have other players on the perimeter who we can plug in. We haven’t had anybody who we feel is a go-to guy in the post. So we gave up a lot to get a lot, and we’re real excited about adding Carl." - Paul Westphal
Why would we even WANT to acquire the 10th pick?
Look, this team is already extremely young. Why would we trade two good locker room guys, both ball handlers and good rotational players for more youth and uncertainty?
We have plenty of cap room to pursue most of what we need.
In addition, we will already be bringing in youth that will need minutes (#5). NO WAY do I move any veteran for the 10th pick this year unless a stellar deal is offered.
I'd move Cisco for the 10
and replace him with Xavier Henry, but I’m sure the Pacers are looking to shed dollars, not take on more.

My guess is the Pacers keep the pick
and sign Nate Robinson and use one their second-rounders on a backup. Not a great solution, but that may be the best they can come up with.

Pacers shouldn't have wasted their pick on Hansbrough last year.
Holiday, Lawson, Teague, Maynor, Collison, Beaubois, and Toney Douglas were all taken after and would all have likely been better for Indiana.

You can't trade Donte....

Man, hmm, Beno for Murphy
Take the 10, maybe swap the 5 afterward.
I think that definitely turns is into a big, tough, much better rebounding team. We would just need a 2 guard. Take Paul George in a straight swap with Detroit?
Evans, George, Casspi, Murphy, Dalembert, with JT the Kid and Donté Greene the Show and Cisco off the bench?
I like it.

Shucks, I forgot about Landry
Even better 9 man rotation. Landry can get his sixth man award finally.
Murphy and JT can play center when Daly just ate cutting it, as well.
I just like the idea of teaming up Daly and Murphy, 2 very good defensive rebounders.
The Kings could even take a project big @ the 5 like Whiteside.
I love Beno, but this move creates a potential playoff team. If you want defense and rebounding, you do this.
The only downside is the deals of Murphy and Daly are not for much longer and still pricey.

Daly is coming off the bench
I have heard JT will start at C, and Landry at PF. I am sure Daly will get more mins if he performs.
