Still hearing some troubling Petrie-Portland rumors, which he denied on our show today ... kind of.

oh

I read Sam’s response as if he was expressing disbelief, as in “Say it ain’t so!”.

Pritchard did just fine for the Blazers

And if they take Petrie? Well, we could take him.

Remember...

Petrie didn’t leave Portland under ideal circumstances. We forget, because he’s been so God damned good here, that Jerry Reynolds actually took a chance on him. I just don’t see, given the friendship he has with Reynolds, his wife having a high profile communications job in town, and the fact that, while his relationship with the Maloofs hasn’t always been ideal, they’ve relented considerably since the Theus era and no owner/GM relationship is eternally ideal anyway, why he’d leave to work for an owner that just treated a general manager the worst possible way you could treat a general manager exclusively to prove whose dick was bigger (proverbially) just because you had a few pleasant years there almost two decades ago.

No mistakes in the tango, Donna. Not like life. Simple. That's what makes the tango so great. If you make a mistake, and get all tangled up, you just tango on.....
