Is Doc Funk funny?

PrintI'm really curious what people think about the photo captions that "Doc Funk" makes. Are they funny? Or lame?
If you haven't seen them, this is his website. I'm not sure if he's been doing this for a long time or what, but his whole thing is to stick captions on NBA photos and try to make them funny. I think it's very hard to do this and be consistently funny with it, but he pumps out 10-20 photos per game, it seems...
Without giving my own opinion, I'm wondering, are they creative? Or weak attempts?
I honestly can't tell if people on this site find them funny or not and am dying to know.

Almost every single caption is funny in some way
Not all of them are knee slappers, but a large percentage are. DocFunk is consistently hilarious with just about everything he does. Read his posts about NFL and NBA owners. Fuckin’ hilarious

I don’t think they’re funny at all. So much so, that I initially thought people were being sarcastic in their comments about how funny they are.
Oh well, what do I know.

I was looking in the archives and saw this one:
It kind of explains his humor a little. It’s kinda Family Guy style where you have to get the reference. Most of the times they’re bball related, but sometimes, like this one, they’re not.
