I said the other day on another thread

that I was surprised how many players 30+ were getting big 5yr contracts. This might be the worst one. It’s 5yr/55mil. I know big guys are overpaid but they also age the fastest. He’ll be getting 11mil at 35 which will be wayyyy too much.

Have fun paying him $11-$12 mil when he is 36

It really suprises me that we were the only team interested in Sammy D. So the guy has underachieved he is still one of the best defensive centers in the league. Far better than Haywood imo.
