Watching him play in SL was like having an out-of-body experience.

conversely, Derrick Favors was also "not much to see" in Orlando

and surprisingly, he is listed ahead of John Wall – which, IMO, is a big mistake.

I expect this guy to have a Mark Gasol type impact for the Popovich squad. I expect to see him in the Rookie/Soph game

I have him at 3rd on my current Rookie Power rankings

With Wall and Cousins in 1st and 2nd respectively. Griffin’s 4th, and he’d be higher, but I’m not gonna buy the hype until I see how well he comes back from such a major injury, and from not playing the game for a year.

Favors is such a project

He is YEARS away from making a positive impact. Griffin is raw and that’s where I see Favors in two years best case. I don’t think people realize what a coup it is to get a polished 7 footer like Cousins. Griffin and Favors got all the tools in the world, but who knows if Griifin will be an all star or Favors will make an impact. We know Cousins already has the game.

I don't know about this,

I’m thinking the rookie wall for Cousins is going to be like the “Great Wall of China”. I also believe it will be a lot sooner. I think in his sophmore year he will really shine, but I believe Wall, Griffin, or Favors will take home rookie of the year next year.

I expect DMC to hit the rookie wall pretty hard

But think he, like Casspi, will be one of the big NBA stories of the 1st half.
