USA takes on Slovenia at 6:30 AM ET. The other big match might be Russia-Turkey. Both were victorious Saturday, and the Turks are pressing forward for a Game 3 match against rival Greece.
Games available on NBA TV, the ESPN family of networks, ESPN3.com and ... well, you know.

I don't understand why Slovenia wouldn't have made Beno the default starter
with Dragic.

I think
The coach wanted Udrih as the playmaker off the bench behind Dragic. Beno apparently felt Dragic should be the bench playmaker. Of course, in retrospect, playing both of them together would have worked out better than pissing off Beno enough for him to stay home. But maybe the coach didn’t think it’d get that far.
Was it Dragic that was starting ahead?
Thought it was that other guy, which is what made Beno mad.

Lakovic
And right, Lakovic is more of a two-guard. The coach wanted to pair Dragic with him, and have Beno as the third guard.
US is very sloppy

Durant only one really playing well
Odom and Rose are very sloppy.

Defense keeping USA on top
After a nice early run, the USA offense has been excessively sloppy. Waaaay too many turnovers, other teams will feast on that. But Slovenia is having trouble doing much on offense itself. Dragic with some brilliant passes.

Nice recovery, if they can hold on. We could have Lithuania, Canada and Lebanon fighting for two spots behind Spain and France.

The Kiwis are most famous for the rugby team
the powerful All-Blacks. That is the reason for the basketball nickname. But yes, they seem to be All or none when it comes to naming teams.
