Omri Casspi: Badass
We're onto Part III of our Player Photoshops, and we've already done Carl Landry and Hassan Whiteside (still are in fact, much thanks to all of you, especially Elf Boy).
Omri Casspi is the subject of this photoshop. Omri is a scrappy player on the court, but off the court, he's just as tough.
Omri has no problem beating up on the elderly.
He auditioned for the role of Leonidas in 300, but gave up the role when he learned that he wouldn't actually be fighting an army of 1,000,000 Persians to the death.
Omri's offseason regimen includes lifting weights, playing for his national team, jazzercise, and slaying mythical beasts.
Omri saw the movie the Last Samurai once and immediately began training so as to one day restore the Shogunate.
United Kingdom? Bollocks, says Omri.
Omri made a little modification to the Time-Traveling Passat to allow it to travel through space as well, and took it a long, long time ago to a galaxy far, far away.

Here's the template for those that don't have Photoshop:
And here's the .psd for those that do have Photoshop.
If you have any requests, please feel free to let them be known in the thread. Also, I'd like to remind everyone that people do check StR at work, so try to keep it appropriate.

Man, Aykis
I love the ones you put up already! Hard to top those.
And all the ones posted above, wow. I wish I thought of those too.
Man, I’m sorta out of ideas at the moment. Need to think – it will be a first.
This.
Ha, that's actually apparently a Famous Japanese Quote
which is what I typed into google to find a caption for that image.

The Japanese. So much culture. So much of it weird.
I absolutely loved the Braveheart one. I originally thought about it for Landry. But you absolutely nailed it with Omri. Perfect.
This.
Yeah that one was fun to make
As was the Lightsaber one. This whole series is making me a better photoshopper since I’ve learned quite a few new techniques thanks to Google.

I don’t know much about photoshop but I can tell this took some creative awesomeness to accomplish. Well done.

Hummus Punch!

"It's just like the story of the grasshopper and the octopus. All year long, the grasshopper kept burying acorns for winter, while the octopus mooched off his girlfriend and watched TV. But then the winter came, and the grasshopper died, and the octopus ate all his acorns. Also he got a race car. Is any of this getting through to you?"

Quick Question
How did you make the pixelated Casspi?
Author of the Pick and Scroll. Follow me on Twitter here.
Well to be fair I didn't pixelate it in Photoshop
I just pixelated Casspi using a program called GIMP, which is essentially a free version of Photoshop ( not as good, but gets the job done)
I like it though because it comes with some filters like a pixel look, so I did casspi in Gimp and finished it off in Photoshop.

I just deleted the other one and uploaded the fixed one with the same name
I’m a cheater like that ;P

I disagree
In this picture, you can put things in his hands. In the other, you can’t do much except provide for a backgrond and a caption.
I don’t know how to fotoshop, so feel free ignore me.

Maybe I’ll push DMC back and get a different player out of the way first. Some of the players template pictures are really good (like Omri and Carl’s have been), while others require a little bit more work.

Especially since most of the players won't have pictures of them in Kings jerseys.
In fact, only Reke, JT, Donte, Beno, and Cisco remain of the players from last year that haven’t had their thread yet.

Cousins is out there
NBA Rookie Shoot photos are available in high def on the Kings website.

Yeah good call.
I found a pic of Cousins that would be a brilliant template, it would just require a little editing.
Here, if Hassan and the Kings.com were gone, that thread would be epic.

Hmm, not sure about epic
I think the last three threads have shown us that the player needs an animated expression on their face. It’s also great if it’s easy to photoshop items into their hands.
This one has the most potential, in my opinion.

Boy, that escalated quickly...I mean, that really got out of hand fast.
Ron Burgundy: I saw that. Brick killed a guy. Did you throw a trident?
Brick Tamland: Yeah, there were horses, and a man on fire, and I killed a guy with a trident.
Ron Burgundy: Brick, I’ve been meaning to talk to you about that. You should find yourself a safehouse or a relative close by. Lay low for a while, because you’re probably wanted for murder.

Omri does now!
But actually, I do. I eat the beans on top with a fork, and then switch to a spoon to put it on pita bread.
I tried making it with a spoon at first, but I liked how the fork looked better.
