The Asinine Offseason Thread V - Rudy Can't Fail Edition

Okay folks. I'm going to begin the newest Asinine Offseason Thread with my own offseason idea, based on popular opinion around StR as of late. The Kings are gonna get a Rudy!

Star-divide

Idea #1: Rudy Huxtable

This spunky youngster has grown into quite the extraordinary player who would be an excellent fit behind Tyreke. Although, something tells me Evans wouldn't mind coming off the bench behind her to Reke a little havoc, if ya catch my drift?

My sources tell me she could be had for a conditional second round pick and a traded player exception as long as we take on Theo Huxtable's Expiring Contract.

Idea #2: Rudy Guiliani

He's a wily old veteran who has been in the game a long time. He's currently a free agent, and based on the money he's earned in his long career he'd be willing to sign for cheap and would be a great locker room presence. He'd also be a great energy guy off the bench who has a penchant for carrying downtrodden teams and bringing them back from the depths. Plus, judging by the image above, he'd look great in purple.

Idea #3: Rudy Ruettiger

You may think he's too small for the NBA, but he's got heart and he just wants to play, so he'll settle for the bare minimum. With his size and effort he's basically the white Nate Robinson... minus the athleticism and actual basketball skills, of course. Oh, and add a few pounds as well, as he tends to play himself into shape. Actually, he's nothing like Nate Robinson. But you can never count out the effort you'll get from the little ones with daddy issues... kind of like strippers.

Alright folks, those are my 3 asinine offseason ideas. Let's hear your's.

Oh, and here's the Trade Machine. Do with it as you please, just promise to clean up afterwards.

Is it ironic that Chris Tucker, a straight male, scared me more than actual transvestites do?

Just for the record: Transvestites are most commonly straight men. Transvestites do wear women’s clothes and make-up, but most prefer women as partners. Here’s a bit of stand-up by Eddie Izzard that helps explain things.

I probably would get the answer if I just clicked the link but

wasn’t Eddie Lizard born a hermaphidite (highly doubt I spelled that one right)

Because talent? You want to add a guy like boozer because hes talented? I’m sorry i just don’t see that as a valid reason. -- fffindeed

Here's a trade for you:

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=2fj5v4e

This is more of a midseason type of trade then something that happens right now, but still one worth investigating.
Detroit benefits by adding a young wing with potential and unloading Prince’s salary. As long as you’re losing you save money where you can.
Philly benefits by speeding up their development of Turner and Holiday as their core. As long as you’re not a playoff team there’s not much of a point to giving over $12 mil a year to someone who isn’t considered a big part of your future. I think we’ll see Iguodala dealt for all the same reasons Martin was dealt last year.
Sacramento benefits by becoming a legitimate playoff threat. I believe Iguodala will complement Evans well on the offensive end, and form a fierce defensive backcourt.

In order for this to work Philly and Detroit both need to suck this year and Evan Turner needs to perform well, but prove to be incompatible with Iguodala. It’s a lot to ask, but by no means impossible. Thoughts?
