For those of you without ESPN Insider: Sacramento's assets 1:05PM The Kings have expiring contracts in Samuel Dalembert and Carl Landry this season, along with about $14.6 million in cap space. And that means teams will be calling. "Teams looking to move high-priced veterans will make calls to Sacramento," wrote Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee. "Teams will also look to deal for expiring contracts the Kings will have. ".. But unless a deal includes a star such as Chris Paul or Carmelo Anthony, the Kings might be inclined to wait on a deal until the summer." The Kings do have a need for a shooter, and two servicable ones are reportedly available via trade: J.R. Smith and Rudy Fernandez. But for now, it appears the team is more inclined to stand pat -- unless something big comes along -- and wait until next summer, where they will have a sizable amount of cap space to acquire players to fill needs.
