An interesting quote to note
“He made a good case for being a starter (this season), and looking at the makeup of our roster now, that’s how I view him,” Kings coach Paul Westphal said.
Yeah, I noticed that too.
Put this together with all the indications that Cisco will get a shot at being the starting shooting guard, Tyreke could be the odd one out. He will bring some scoring puch off the bench, though.
Dunking Dutchman
That’d be like the Celtics benching Rondo in favor of Nate Robinson…I don’t think it’ll happen.
I cannot agree with those who rank modesty among the virtues. To the logician all things should be seen exactly as they are, and to underestimate one’s self is as much a departure from truth as to exaggerate one’s own powers.

Isn't it "brinh?"

As in,
The Kings signed Udrih to a five year deal after Geoff Petrie backed up the Brinh’s truck?

It's funny
I saw that the article was from the Bee, and decided to just read the comments
Childress then flew to Greece and asked the team if they would pay him in gold bars, hookiers, weed, and marijuana. The rest is history.
Yep. Hate to say it but I felt the same way
now since I didn’t know it was the Bee, I hit the link scanned the article all the while thinking “there’s nothing here”. There was nothing there. Beno came into camp last season playing the way he ended the 08-09 season. I am really hoping that he continues to improve and contribute this season. The season is really starting to get dang close. I can’t wait.

Love me some Beno in the morning. He’s fun to watch, and whenever he shoots the ball you don’t think “Why would you do that?!”

Truth
He took very few questionable shots last season that I remember. A few more dimes to the inside guys and he’s a God. (I’d say Defense but – well, I think he does try)

He did average almost as many steals (1.13) as Evans in 6 fewer minutes per game.
so he’s not completely void of defensive skills. But, who cares if he is, as long as he can put Kobe on his ass off the dribble.
