Anthony Randolph to be traded soon
Should the Kings kick the tires on him? What do you guys think?

I'd be shocked if the Knicks are holding onto Randolph....
….and if is the other teams that are asking for him are having pause and thinking about it.

No mistakes in the tango, Donna. Not like life. Simple. That's what makes the tango so great. If you make a mistake, and get all tangled up, you just tango on.....
If Omri has 12 games with 85+ TS% (20+ mins only) on the season, I will send RikSmits a slice of Cherry Pie with real Californian cheese pasteurized locally in Washington state.
I'd give up Milwaukee's 2nd rounder,
but that’s it. I’ve said before that the kid is a $40 billion airport with a 10 cent control tower. He has now failed to produce under Nelson and D’Antoni. I wouldn’t give up much to get him.

And I'm shocked as to why other teams would either.

I wouldn't even give that up
but that’s mostly because I don’t feel like people around here bitching and moaning about the trade like the did when we gave up practically nothing in acquiring Jermaine Taylor
"What the fuck did I do?" - McNulty
The Jermaine Taylor thing
was just ignorance. They were just ignorant to the financial aspects of the NBA.
Agreed. No more crazies please.
Cousins and Whiteside are enough in that potential/crazy department. This is why I stand by Petrie not getting Beasley.
Did he really fail under Nelson?
Not that he got that he was getting this much playing time but his per 36 minutes stats were: 18.5 points, 10 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks. Which aren’t really all that bad.

Fair point, but he didn't play 36 minutes
His inability to grasp the game kept him largely on the bench. So I would say that he both tantalized and frustrated under Nelson. He may not have been a failure, but he sure did fail to deliver on his immense promise.
He’s probably worth a pick to someone in the latter stages of the 1st round (Atlanta, Dallas, maybe even Boston). But I would approach with eyes wide open. He has now failed to establish himself on two teams that could benefit from his ample physical talents. That’s either bad luck or a bad head.

yeah I wonder about his head as well.
I don’t know why i’m justifying him, but didn’t he break his ankle as well? I thought he was coming off an injury and that’s why he has been so bad this year. I agree he’s not an ideal fit in Sac, but i’m looking at him from Portland’s point of view. And he doesn’t seem like much of a risk for us to pick him up. If he could learn from Camby on defense he wouldn’t be a bad backup PF.

No thanks
Randolph isn’t going to blossom into his full potential with anyone. The idea that Nellie couldn’t work with him and that’s the reason he underperformed is clearly being debunked by his time in New York. You can’t say D’Antoni isn’t able to develop young talent with the emergence and play of Landry Fields.
I wouldn’t see any reason to get him at all.
While I agree with your point about why Randolph hasn't developed
he still has potential, is young and sometimes a player needs to get traded a couple of times before getting his head on straight. For a low enough price, I would totally role the dice on him.
"should the Kings kick the tires on him?"
NO

noo
i dont understand why would you bring a guy in when we have so many players at pf/c and plus he has struck out everywhere he went this is a SIGN?
Plus all this would do is allow the Knicks another chip to go after Carmelo Anthony.
Helping them just to help them is a wish of Knicks fans (and apparently the media); NBA front offices in the meantime have teams to run and will probably pass on an offer like that for Randolph.

seems like another D. Greene experiment
alot of potential, athletic big, shown glimpses, hasnt found a ‘knack’… this early in your career and have already been bounced around multiple teams is a bad sign in my books
We can't win at home. We can't win on the road. I just can't figure out where else to play!

Apparently Donnie Walsh thinks he can land a first rounder for Randolph

Donnie Walsh is confident.
Mwahahahaha. That’s precious.

God no.
I have followed AR pretty closely, and after being fairly productive on a bad Warrior team, he was injured (while also being hugely undisciplined), and then traded. Now he is on the Knicks – Mike Dantoni’s Knicks – and STILL can’t get on the court? Aside from Amare, they have NO post play. At the pace they play, how does Randolph get NO run?
Either A – he is lame, B – he is crazy, or C – he is some of both. He is an experiment we absolutely don’t need. We already have Whiteside.
Regardless, he is absolutely NOT worth a first rounder, especially for us. We need a 2/3 who can shoot, and a PG.
