Well, StR at ARCO Arena IV is rapidly approaching, and it is your last chance to (a) participate in a Sactown Royalty night under the ARCO Arena name, (b) see some of your favorite players for the last time as the relocation trade deadline fast approaches.
I have no idea how many tickets we have sold so far, but I don't think it's much. We wound up in the 80-90 range for the Dubs game, and it earned us a meet and greet with Bobby Jackson.
This time around, we are shooting for an hour of ARCO Power Band court time at a to-be-determined date. And of course, there is the matter of an NBA basketball game, one that will feature your Kings besting Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and company, when the Kings execute a perfect in bounds alley oop as time expires, causing the capacity crowd to carry Dick Bavetta off on their collective shoulders.
Tickets are in section 214-215, beginning in row "P." They are a discounted $25.50 each. The February 12th game falls on a Saturday night, so it should prove to be a fun and festive time, right? Right?
Here is the ticket link. If you have any special needs or questions regarding tickets, email Desireé Paxton at dpaxton@arcoarena.com and identify yourself as being amongst the StR tribe. Don't forget, the special event code is "str."
A couple of closing items - You don't have to be an StR member to take advantage of this special purchase. And I will tell you, as heart wrenching as the Dubs game was, I'm sure glad that I was surrounded by fans that are as passionate as me about Kings basketball. It was nice to know that I wasn't the only person heading home to stalk and torture the neighbor's cat.
Last but not least, if you could "rec" this post to keep it at the top of the FanPosts, it would be appreciated. Thanks, - Mrs. section214 and I hope to see you there.
