Ranking the Top 50 Sacramento Kings, Pick No. 50

Cuttino Mobley is your 49th Greatest Sacramento King of All-Time. Cuttino came to Sacramento in a trade for Doug Christie. He only went on to play in the league a few more years because of a heart illness found in a physical when he signed with the New York Knicks.
HOW TO VOTE:
Voting is done via the comment section. To vote, simply add a comment with the name of the person you would like to vote for. Feel free to explain your vote if you wish, or not. If you are a lurker who doesn't post much, this could be a good opportunity to create an account (it is super easy and completely free) and start interacting with the community. Voting ends at midnight (Pacific Time) so get your comments in before then. Any votes after that will not count. You also may not switch your vote after you have voted.
When voting feel free to use any criteria you wish in your evaluation, but only take into account a player's career as a Sacramento King. If a player you want to vote for isn't on the poll, feel free to mention him in the comments to be added.

Kleine for 50!

no Marty Conlon on this list?
You kids need to learn your Sacramento Kings history. Marty Conlon for 50.
Omri
Though I wish his career in Sac had fared better, I think it would be nice to see the first Israeli player to play in the NBA in our list if greatest Kings.

Joe Kleine for #50!

Because he’s dapper,

he does a killer rendition of “Danke Schoen,”

he knows where his fingers have been,

and he inspired a drinking game in his honor.
And besides all of that, he’s Joe motherf*cking Kleine!

I was figuring that you would name Donté #50a
Though I suppose that 50é would be more appropriate.

Not jumping on the Joe for #50 bandwagon but...
Honestly I really just think he had a better stay here than all these other guys, statistically speaking anyway since most of these guys played here before I was even born.
K9(woof!)!
Go for it all. You're a great champion.

My brain says Larry Drew
but my brain is a hopeless jackass. Another vote for Joe Kleine and his T-Rex arms and hands carved from the hardest stone!

Side note:
My take on the rankings so far:
I don’t agree with the placements of few of our rankings. Obviously, not everyone cares but i had to vent a little as we wind down this process. I understand that everyone uses different criteria for their selection which makes my ranting pointless but deal with it. I don’t think that all of the placements are exactly where “I” would have put them, but these are the ones that i have placed much differently.
Down in rankings (at least 5 for each) Pollard, Barry, Mobley, and Thornton:
Pollard and Barry are overvalued because they are likeable characters. Their play on the team otherwise was effective but hardly more effective than many other listed farther below them. Barry was essentially voted this high to just fight off the OP vote. Cuttino Mobley and Marcus Thornton are overvalued because of their great play but had very little burn within our system. How can you be rated one of the top 50 kings and only have played less than a half of a season? In my opinion you should at least have to complete a season with the team to be considered.
Up in rankings (at least 5 for each) Thompson, Garcia, and Smith:
Jason Thompson, Francisco Garcia, and Michael Smith are undervalued becuase of the lack of the success of the team they were on. All three of these players are an were some of the most effective Kings on their respective teams and had some of the greatest attitudes. They also all spent a great deal of time with the team and don’t get the credit they deserve.
Controversial but accurate ranking (OP):
OP, is one of those players who’s talent and productiveness should have given him top 20, but his completely unlikable character pushed him farther down the rankings.
Jerry Reynolds
hell, if someone’s gonna vote for the 6th man, I’ll vote for Jerr Bear. I’m totally happy that Joe Kleine’s gonna win, though.
put me in, Coach
PS, if we keep it rolling past 50...
…perhaps LaBradford Smith will get a shot at making the list!
put me in, Coach
