I normally wouldn't post promoting another site, but I feel we all could use something to do during the lockout. This isn't my site, but it's something fun that I like.

QuickGM is looking for new GM’s to start its new season.

A quick run down on what QuickGM is all about. Every team is assigned a roster of random NBA players. With that roster you make trades with other GM’s using the trade guide lines explained in the Rules: (http://quickgm1.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rules&action=display&thread=48).

After about 2 weeks, you submit your team in the "Divisional" Playoffs and the rest of the league will vote for the best teams in each division. The top 8 teams receiving votes in the CONFERENCE will make the playoffs. At that time the top 8 teams in each division will go against each other in a basic NBA playoff bracket. Every GM will vote in all of the matchups to determine the winners until there is a Finals Champion.

Give it a shot, it is a fast pace addicting game that will hook you. Guaranteed. Every person in this board that is currently playing QuickGM will tell you the game is fun.
