1140 AM Will Broadcast All Sacramento Kings Games On Radio

The longtime radio partner of the Sacramento Kings, 1140 AM, will indeed broadcast the team's games this season, the station has told Sactown Royalty. (You could also have learned this through the new 'lockout is over!' bumpers the station is playing today.)

There had been a question of whether the contract would be renewed given the uncertainty of whether Sacramento would ever host another pro basketball game. But we definitely have 33 more, and hopefully many, many more seasons.

I would expect Gary Gerould to remain the (brilliant) radio voice of the Kings as well. We're also expecting that Comcast SportsNet will be broadcasting all Kings games except those featured on TNT's Thursday night double-header.

The schedule should be out this week.
