"It's not a rivalry," Kobe Bryant said. "We beat them every year. Oh my God. I don't care if they beat us tonight."

He's right, the Lakers aren't a big rival to anyone any more.
And, the network that just gave them a multi-Billion dollar tv deal is screwed.

oddly enough they posted a 10 in the LA market for their first game
pretty sure the new and improved clips were either a 1 or a 2.

Maybe not this year, but very soon, the clips will have the higher ratings.
Lakers fans are truly fair weather fans. Had a woman laker fan in front of me at a game last season, who hardly stopped texting on her Iphone the entire game. Except to cheer when the lakers scored, although I doubt that she knew who scored and only was taking her lead from the two gals she was with.

JUST A REMINDER of what he said the last game of last year

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento Kings fans made it feel like old times.
Then, so did Kobe Bryant.
Bryant’s tying 3-pointer with 4.8 seconds left in regulation forced overtime, and the Los Angeles Lakers regrouped to hand the Kings a 116-108 loss Wednesday night in what might have been the last game ever in California’s capital city.
“I told Phil it’s fitting it’s going to end this way,” Bryant said after sharing a laugh with Lakers coach Phil Jackson…
Oh wasn't that the 3 he hit from out of bounds.
He squarely had his heel on the line out of bounds….fitting that the Lakers won on piss-poor officiating. Yeah, been a recurring theme year in and year out.

Technically he's right
Funny thing is no matter what he says his face/attitude last night tells a different story. He can throw a hissy fit if he wants but I know deep down he loves playing/beating us. If it wasn’t atleast a small rivalry he wouldn’t enjoy beating us so much or hate losing to us so much.

It's not rape. I doesn't count if I asked first and she said no.
I spiked her drink and she didn’t say anything after that. Oh my god. I don’t care if she was bleeding afterwards.
Not sure if this will be too inappropriate for here, but this comment reminded me of this
