Good bye Sammy
Figured you weren’t coming back but now it’s official. Only advantage we had was the extra money we could have offered him with bird rights but now they are gone. Good luck in your future endeavors.
It's all Jim Les' fault
Not official.
According to Chris Tomasson, Dalembert says the door is still open with Kings. Best he can get is 4 years now instead of 5. Kings still have plenty of cap space.

ThAt would be one deep front court.
DMC, jt, jj, chuck, Hassan, and then Sammy. We had a tough time last year with DMC , jt, Sammy, and top hat. Notice how well everyone’s play improved when the rotation went down to three bigs after the trade for Thornton last year.

I don't think you'd have a starting PF among the bunch
In his entire career Hayes has never averaged more than 0.5 shots per game outside of 9 ft. and has a career average under 5 ppg. 70% of Hickson’s baskets inside 10 ft come off of assists and he has a worse shooting percentage outside of 10ft then JT. Hassan is a wide card unknown with no experience, and seldom looks comfortable. And, we already know about JT and Sam, and neither looks like a long term starter option. And, DMC is definitely going to be one of the top 10 Centers in the league, and maybe as soon as this year.
I put our greatest need as experienced starting PF followed by experienced starting SF.

Why does your PF need to score points if he is only in at defense..You got Jimmer, tyreke, Thornton, Salmons, and Cuz to score points

Because if he isn't a threat to hit an open 18 footer
of to drive to the lane, the defense can slack off and crowd the lane. I’m not saying that he has to give you 20ppg, only that a starter needs to be good enough that he must be guarded.
But as long as you brought it up, Hayes is probably the only really good defender at the PF spot. Hassan and JJ are pretty good weak side shot blockers, and I think JT and DMC can defend the Center. But when JT and DMC are up against some of the quicker PF’s they tend to use their hands and arms a lot, and that gets them in foul trouble.
I like all of them more as centers than as PF’s.

I think that you're to caught up on the whole position thing
Hayes could play defense at PF and center on offense, and Cousins vice versa.

Agreed on that fact, but you do have guys that can hit 12-18 footers…I dont think you need your PF jacking up 3’s though to get the other big men out of the way..And completely agree on JT and being Centers rather then PF’s…I think that’s where JT plays best on both Offense and Defense..Now only need to get him to play back to the basket, which I think Chuckwagon could help him with..
Not sayng any of them aren’t starters, but how many teams have that great of a presence at both PF and C..
