Carl Landry On The Rise Guys
Great interview. Includes this exchange:
"Carl, did you tell DeMarcus that he wasn't open?"
"I was gonna, but then the punches started flying!"

this sounds very different from when I listen to them on the radio
Live every week like it's Shark Week.
See Landry was slow to react
because it was a defensive situation, if he was going to go on the offense he would have been there in a heartbeat.
In my quest to set the family record and live to 103, I am beginning to get pissed at the amount of body parts falling off along the way.
First time we've heard from an eye witness
“I was gonna, but then the punches started flying!”
Sound’s like it was pretty bad. “Punches” tells me this was a full on fight. Not one guy throwing a punch. But both guys going at at.
..really?
I think you fell into the sarchasm.
If it was really that bad I don’t think Carl would be joking about it like that.
The NBA: "Where 27 free throws happens"
Eh, might not be the greatest idea to talk about it. It could just potentially reverberate again and he didn't really need to throw his hat into it.
Probably doesn’t matter much either way though. Well, hopefully.

My opinion
Is that he’s just trying to make light of the situation (which everyone would appreciate I think). Altho I didn’t listen to the broadcast.

I wasn't questioning his intent at all

True. But I agree with Wally.
The Kings and DMC are trying to put this behind them. Him joking about it is just going to give it more life. Look. We’re talking about it again.
Even Top Hat knew
Demarcus wasn’t open.

Carl's candor is refreshing.
If you want to be your best, you have to do your best, otherwise you are only second rate.
