Uber-rec.
That flyer is gorgeous.
Who ended up making it?

NOT trying to make things more complicated or anything like that
but if I didn’t know what was going on and had tickets to the game, this wouldn’t make a lot of sense to me.
I would be thinking "am I supposed to chant all of those in succession? Each chant for each corresponding time numbered?
And then I might just give up because its too many options =/
Anyone else get what I am saying?
Constructive criticism?
Makes plenty of sense to me.
And I showed it to my mom, who has no idea what’s going on, and she got it.
I think it’ll be fine.

The people who are confused can just follow the other 17,000 people.
It should be fine.

I think it's lacking a brief explanation of our movement
But otherwise it’s a top notch flyer
Go for it all. You're a great champion.

Word
I hope to dry out my companies color printers and hand them out to as many people as I can.
If you are going to the game on Monday
Print these out, as many as you want, and help spread them to people in your section!

Start printing as many as you can and spreading the word (Twitter, facebook, other blogs, sacbee!).

Shouldn't there be a maloof chant in there?
Hehe. I know there’s negative history there for lots of fans, but we’re desperate. Everyone mentions how emotional these guys are and how they want to feel loved. Wouldn’t hurt.
And Amick mentioned in his chat today that they've felt bitter
and unloved the last few years…
But I think love for the Kings is, by extension, love for the Maloofs. They are fans of the Kings themselves, after all.

No offense, but I think we're beyond suggesting chants.
If you’re at the game though and your own chant is important to you, I imagine no one will try to stop you from starting your own (hopefully not competing with the official ones).

I'll be there
And I have no plans to compete against what we’ve got planned.
Maybe something to think about for the game after or something.
Sure!
We’ve got, what, 16 more home games? And we can’t just slack off after this one, they’re giving us a chance to show that we can keep up the spirit and support for longer than one night,

Can these get passed out at the entry ways?
I’m sure there are some who’d volunteer to hand them out.

I know this would cost a few bucks...
It would be great if you could get this printed in the Sacramento Bee, in the sports section, next to an article on the Kings.
If you want to be your best, you have to do your best, otherwise you are only second rate.

im a struggling student
But I would donate everything I can and maybe try to go to every Fri Sat Sun game I can for rest of year (work during day go to school at night M-Th). I’m literally beside myself and sick to my stomach.

Assuming enough people want to donate...
Someone needs to take the lead on this and call the Bee and see how much money we need and then collect the donations. I don’t live in Sac so it’d have to be someone else, but please let me know and I can Paypal some money.
The NBA: "Where 27 free throws happens"
If we did that,
we’d probably have to modify the flyer slightly to explain Here We Stay to those who haven’t yet heard about it.
But I think it’s a great idea.

We'd also probably have to clarify
that the chants are for use during the game, otherwise it would be sort of odd to flip through the paper and see this random ad with no clear explanation of what it’s about.

Can't stop here
We should attempt to sell out all of the other games to show the Maloofs and the NBA how much we care.
what about emailing
Voison or Brenton? I’m pretty sure they would mention it. As a matter of fact l think there should be two people passing out fliers at each entrance. And we should do it every game for rest of year. And I think we need to plan one final huge attention grabbing thing to do for final home game and before Board of Govenors meeting

I'm pretty sure the last game is going to be sold out vs. the f@kers
But we need the whole building to be kings fans, not “fans” of that other team.
Brenton?
Is that the guy who does the column on the left side of C1?
Because if so, I don’t like him. He seems more than a little pessimistic about the whole thing.

I’ll ask if he could link to this flier

THIS. IS. AWESOME!
Who knows, maybe our energy spreads to the players and we all witness something very special.
And then maybe, just maybe, the Maloofs witness it, too.

I represent the 2 teachers in the section 102 Row B
I now have a couple signs for the game. I still want to make up the handouts for the game. However, I only have the capability to make black and white copies on my school’s riso machine. I can make anywhere from 1000-2000 copies but I need the flyer in a PDF or DOC file. Can that be posted for download?? I’ll be on top of copying first thing Monday if I can get it. I still need people to help with sign holding in that section. I have 15’ banner (maybe 2-3 if I can find the time) that needs assistance and large poster boards with the letters H E R E W E S T A Y. If you will be at the game and are willing to assist let me know. Since I don’t always have the time to check the postings you can reach me at adamsite@hotmail.com Good work everyone. See you at the game!!! Go Kings!! Here We Stay!!
Just sent you an email
Let me know if you got it
"Children want what they want when they want it." ... Andy Sims
Got it...
I’m working on transferring it into black and white. The problem is that the purple turns to gray. which turns out poorly on a riso machine. If there is someway to give me a purely black and white version it will turn out much clearer on the riso. I want to be sure the twitter and facebook links turn up well. Plus the “Please remember…” phrase in the purple bar at the bottom turns up poor. I wish I could alter the PDF to do it myself but being a teacher, I don’t have that version of Adobe…it costs. Can you give me a Black and White version.
I'll send you an email in a bit to arrange this stuff
Thanks for the help!

About using some of the donation cash to buy the domain name…herewestay.com and putting up a site with all of our info? Just thinking out loud.

We've got the facebook site.
We don’t need a dedicated site other than that for now I don’t think, most people have facebook, its easily accessible, and updates show on people’s timelines.

There are a lot of good multi game deals available right now. I bought the clippers game in a 3 game package that was almost as cheap as just buying that one game.
Have you seen the remaining seats for the two games after Monday?

We will be there loud and proud with signs. The tickets are a Kings in the Community gift, but we will make our voices heard. When you here the loud obnoxious teenagers in the upper deck that night…remember it will be us! Go Kings!
Oooooh man
I really wish I lived in the Sacramento area so that I can participate in all this.. Chant your hearts out and I better be able to hear it when I watch the game!
Have fun, and gooooo Kings!
