(Warning: This is a pessimistic post.)
It's unavoidable; I've been contemplating whether I will be able to continue to root for the Kings if they leave Sacramento. I continue to hope that they stay, but I don't plan to be sucker-punched if a Decision is made. I've come to realize that whether or not I can stomach to root for the Kings if they depart depends on where they end up. Anaheim is an intolerable choice for me, I'd have to let go. Seattle or Vancouver, I'd be okay with, since those populations lost their teams. For that matter, Kansas City I would not begrudge if they got the Kings back. St. Louis I would begrudge. Pittsburgh, mostly from what I've seen of their fans, is a non-starter for me. Las Vegas ... I'm indifferent.
So, a morbid poll, while the question is still relevant. This isn't about likelihood of the Kings ending up in these cities, just where it would be least bile-inducing.
