Let's for a minute assume the worst happens and the Kings leave Sacramento, would you still be fans of the team?

If the answer is no, then you were a fan of the team just because they are in your hometown?

If the answer is yes, then why are you a fan of the team? Is it the current roster, memories of the past, you just like the colors or logo?

I am just curious what the Sactown fanbase really values. I will start it off answering for myself......

I will still be a fan of the ___________ Kings (although if they move I hope they land in San Jose). I became a fan initially because they were the hometown team. But I have invested way too many years of caring about this team succeeding to just drop them because of a move. I suffered through all the bad years, celebrated the good 8 year run, and they are too close to returning to a playoff team for me to give up now. So even if the team moves, the Kings will forever be my team. It will suck if I can't call the the Sacramento Kings any longer, but I was a Raider fan through all the moving too. So I follow a team which probably makes me a "Logo" guy.
