The Kings get a legitmate small foward and Lamar would work well with Tyreke and Demarcus. This summer the Kings go after a legitmate point guard. Mo williams anyone?? We cant do everything through free agency and the draft, a trade is manditory for us to get back on the map.
This is exactly what the Lakers are looking for. They land Melo and get to try out Landry. The Lakers will improve greatly but if this trade is going to happen, the kings might as well get a piece of the pie. Landry gets out of the doghouse and is out of our hair.
Denver gets a set of young players in return, young players with very high potiential.
