Sacramento Kings Visit San Antonio, Looking To Shock Spurs

Stay connected for news and updates

The Sacramento Kings couldn't quite close the deal against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday, and the test is no easier tonight as the team visits the San Antonio Spurs. The Kings still don't have Tyreke Evans back, and Beno Udrih is ill and not with the team. That should mean a re-run of Luther Head and Marcus Thornton, and plenty of Francisco Garcia.

As usual, it'll be a tough slog. The Spurs are incredible at every position, and the Kings simply aren't. It'll take Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker and Tim Duncan being sub-prime and a King or two being out-of-this-world. DeMarcus Cousins was legitimately out-of-this-word (despite turnover issues) against the Magic, and Sacramento could use that again.

Please check out HighTops' scouting report. The tip will be at 5:30 on Comcast SportsNet and KHTK 1140 AM. Game threads at 5:30 and 7. Let's do it Sacramento! Shock the world!
