Here We Stay is ready for the rally at City Hall on Tuesday and we hope a lot of you can join us. Now let's just hope it doesn't rain on us; damn you, mother nature!!
Quick update: We're moving forward with the rally, rain or shine. A little bit of water is not going to stop us from delivering our message!
For those of you who don't know, we'll be meeting outside of City Hall (9th and I street in downtown Sac) at 5.30. We'll gather together, make some noise, and then file into the council meeting where we will let our representatives know some of us are still here, fighting, hoping, and dreaming.
If you will be joining us please do your best to be on time. Don't forget to bring friends and family, and bring your signs (we'll provide some as well), Kings jerseys, and even cowbells (why not, right?). Also, Here We Stay will be passing out some free t shirts to the first 10 people that show up.
In the past week, our rally plan has been covered by the Sac Bee, Sac Press, and we've been in contact with Fox40, News10, and Channel 13, so if you're there tomorrow, you may just be get a nice interview or even get on TV so come ready for that.
The most important thing though, is that, as always, we bring a positive attitude to this rally. We are doing this because, as fans, we are still willing to fight and we want to make sure the whole city knows this. If we can get others to hope and dream with us then, no matter the outcome, our movement will be that much more meaningful. Let's come out for us, to support each other and show why Sacramento Kings fans are still one of the best out there. Looking forward to seeing a lot of you there with us tomorrow night.
Here We Stay!
