I've mentioned this somewhere in an older thread. I'm trying to request fans of other teams to organize a "Stay in Sac" chat during the Kings road games. I plan on spreading the message through other SB Nation's pages. Next up are two small market teams in San Antonio and New Orleans. Here is one message I plan on posting:

This coming Saturday on the 12th the Kings will be on the road, visiting your Hornets team. As a fan of a fellow small market team I'm asking fans for something that's very unlikely to be fulfilled. The request is asking Hornets fans to chat "Stay in Sac" during the beginning of the 2nd quarter.

As the entire NBA nation knows, the current situation for the Kings is not too positive. Losing the team is going to be a huge loss to the community as well as the economy in Sacramento. This request won't stop the team from moving but it can at least send a meaningful message to the Maloofs, NBA owners, the fans and media if a chant like this could happen.

I know this is an unusual task to ask for and may go ignored for many reasons, one being that the percentage of fans on this board attending the game may make up only a handful of people in the arena. Another is that your franchise has problems of its own right now and may not want to deal with this.

Any support would be appreciated. Even holding up a sign with something like "Stay in Sac" would mean a lot to Kings fans. By no means am I asking you to root for the Kings. You can being fully decked out in Hornets gear while holding up "Kings belong to Sacramento" while passing behind the Kings on air announce team (look for the big red head) and it would get the message across. Please spread the word to other boards you may frequent. Moral victories like this may be all we have left to cheer for in Sacramento.

 

I'm not sure if this is enough or needs any editing. I'd like to run it by here and see what people think before I start posting it on other SB Nation fan shots. Other Sactown members posting this on other boards is definitely welcomed (as long as there is a note about it in this thread to avoid double posting/spamming), any help would be appreciated.
