The warm-fuzzies turned into cold business in a hurry, as the Maloofs and Mayor Kevin Johnson are already in New York City at the NBA's owners meetings. The Maloofs will present later this morning, with Johnson to follow. Anaheim's city leaders will also make a pitch. George Maloof spoke briefly to the several Sacramento reporters on scene. From the Bee's Tony Bizjak:

"We're making a presentation today about what's good and bad about Sacramento and Anaheim. If the owners are comfortable with it, we'll take the next step. We'll put in an application on Monday if things are right," Maloof said.
