The Sacramento Kings will be one of 12 teams represented in a two-day NBA Draft group workout today and Tuesday in Minnesota. Among the biggest names scheduled to participate are Kansas guard Josh Selby, Kansas forward Markieff Morris and Providence wing Marshon Brooks.
None are expected to be in play at No. 7, but could be around if the Kings trade down. Most, including Maryland center Jordan Williams, Purdue big man JaJuan Johnson, and possibly defensive prospects Tyler Honeycutt of UCLA and Travis Leslie of Tennessee could be available at No. 35, where the Kings pick in the second round. Sacramento also has the No. 60 (final) pick in the draft.
The draft is scheduled for June 23 at 4 p.m. The Kings are expected to begin individual and small group workouts in Sacramento next week. Visit SB Nation Minnesota for the full list of participants in this week's group workout.
UPDATE: DraftExpress reports a number of the participants, including Markieff Morris, pulled out. Marshon Brooks also pulled out.
