Mike Brown Current Favorite as Next Laker's Coach
I thought this tidbit was the best part, regarding the Dubs:
"Brown was widely considered in coaching circles to be the favorite to be hired as the next coach of the Golden State Warriors, who, according to sources, now expect Brown to be soon off the market. Other candidates in Golden State include Shaw, Dallas Mavericks assistant Dwane Casey, Boston Celtics assistant Lawrence Frank, ESPN analyst Mark Jackson and TNT analyst Kevin McHale."
Oh lord, please let this happen. To quote one phenomenal NBA orator, Mark Jackson would be "manna from heaven". Or at the very least, delightful entertainment.

hiring mike brown = veteren coach that has some acclaim, who will let Kobe do whatever he wants and cheers him all the way Ala Prince James. Im a bi surprised the Kobe would be down with a james cast off, but hey go for it. I don’t see him being the coach that will get em back over the hump. but…..not my problem.
Just when I thought being a Laker hater couldn't get any better
They’re basically letting Kobe run the asylum. Absolutely beautiful!
I love beating dead horses.

Anything to get him to stop saying "MOMMA THERE GOES THAT MAN!"
Possibly… No, DEFINITELY, the worst signature call in the NBA right now.
Mike Brown is being hired to his second straight assistant-coaching job!!
First behind Lebron, now behind Kobe. Hopefully we see the return of Brown’s signature offensive play: the “have your star rebound and dribble out the clock and then take a long, contested three.”
Seriously though, talk about a boring ass coach. LA is going to hate him, and I think he will be a terrible fit…. therefore I am fully in support of his being hired.
