Just another friendly exercise. From the maker of "Who to Study" and "Who Would you protect" comes the greatest exercise yet: Kidnap a Player. Basically, its just an exercise to get us through the offseason. Details after the jump.
Basically, heres the game. You have to take a player from each division and add them to the Kings. And you must specify which Kings player you would get rid of in order to gain that player. Take into account their contracts as well.
Of course, I will block off certain superstars because that would be a little unfair. Try adding promising players or solid role players.
Heres a little breakdown on the teams in each division and the players that you are not allowed to "kidnap".
UNKIDNAPABBLE: Rondo, Pierce, Allen, D. Williams, Lopez, Anthony, Stoudemire, Iguodala
UNKIDNAPABBLE: Rose, Granger, Jennings
UNKIDNAPABBLE: Johnson, Smith, Horford, Wade, James, Bosh, Howard, Wall
UNKIDNAPABBLE: Ellis, Curry, Griffin, Gordon, Any Lakers Player, Nash
UNKIDNAPABBLE: Kidd, Nowitzki, Martin, Gay, Randolph, Gasol, Paul, Parker, Ginobili
- Northwest Division: Nuggets, Timberwolves, Thunder, Blazers, Jazz
UNKIDNAPABBLE: Nene, Lawson, Love, Westbrook, Durant, Roy, Aldridge, Wallace, Jefferson
There is no way to lose in this little exercise. Just explain why you would add each player. Unless of course you add a Laker. Or Kwame Brown. So there are actually two ways to lose this game.
So you should have 6 new additions to the Kings. And for the purpose of this, just assume that any Kings impending free agents for this summer will return on their previous salary.
