Am I welcome in the fold?

A good pic to introduce myself. I’ve been a die-hard BYU fan from DC for many, many years, so I’ve seen every Jimmer game. I can tell you anything you need to know about him. If there’s one thing I’ll say about him it’s this: every year, he continued to improve and amaze me; he’s always been doubted. But it won’t be easy. This is a whole different league altogether.

The Kings have now become my 2nd favorite team (after my beloved Bullets of course). I know that makes my bond with the team tenuous at best – because it’s likely to break when/if Jimmer moves on to another team, but I hope you’ll still welcome me. I want to learn the team, and will watch every game. To be honest, I don’t love this spot. I’m happy with Westphal’s style, but it seems to me you’ve got a bunch of knuckleheads on your team who want the ball a lot. I’m a little nervous about how all of this plays out. Of course, Jimmer’s one goal is to help the team win, so that’s what I care about. He’s only as successful as the team is; so I’m not one of those teams who could care less about how the team does if Jimmer does well. I really wanted him to go to the Suns, to learn from Nash on being an NBA point guard, learn from some of the greats. Instead it will be Evans, Cousins, Salmons? Eeek.

No worries though. Jimmer is a good, humble kid. He’ll do what he can to get along and help the team win. I hope you’ll welcome me. My NBA league pass will now get used even more… that is, when the season eventually starts… #lockoutssuck

We are collection of passionate Sacramento Kings basketball fans. From what I have read here you have plenty of hoops passion and have figured out that this is a place to share your opinions. There are site rules and I recommend you become familiar with them. In short, be courteous and respectful of others and there are no personal insults allowed.

I think that if Jimmer can make a shot from the logo they should be called “letter bombs”.

I didn’t realize how deep that shot was… almost as deep as the TCU one. Too bad it was the worst shooting night of his career… in the biggest game of his career. Rick Reilly is a douche. My brother spoke with him about his article for like 5 minutes. He’s a douche in person too. He will have to donate $5,000 this next season, maybe more to come…
