Jimmer has less competition for minutes than Kyrie will. Baron Davis is a very, very hard to move contract, and if there is no amnesty clause to get rid of it, Davis will either sit on the bench while a rookie plays with his huge contract (unlikely), Davis starts while Irving comes off the bench and also plays with Irving as a 1-2 combo at times (likely), or Davis and Irving both start at the 1 and the 2 (possible, don’t see it as likely though)
