Kobe would destroy Tyreke 1 on 1.
That being said, I’m voted Team Tyreke.
I cannot agree with those who rank modesty among the virtues. To the logician all things should be seen exactly as they are, and to underestimate one’s self is as much a departure from truth as to exaggerate one’s own powers.

how so?
Reke could take Kobe off the dribble every time. Kobe has an arthritic knee and has become a jump shooter. He wont make every shot.

i dont think reke could take kobe off the dribble everytime haha
ur givin kobe less respect then he deserves defensively and offensively (even though i hate him) .. he has an array of weapons to get to the hoop. hes one of the greatest (douchebags). tyreke still got some time to get there..

It looks like a reach in to me
Ya he got the ball, but not until after he runs his shoulder across Reke’s chest and knocks him off his path. Just sayin’.

after looking at it again it really was an elbow to the chest more than a shoulder

2 minutes into that...
i think thats one of the most underrated moments in Sacramento Kings history. and Grant, bless his heart, had awesome reaction.
I like that, and I like Kings basketball.
lol strong homer
tyreke is miles away from the caliber of player that is kobe
Kobe has the advantage on the perimeter and midrange due to his jumpshot.
Tyreke has the advantage given his size, speed and strength to drive against anyone in the L. I really want to say Tyreke because his game is almost perfectly tailored to this. Tyreke has moves in his pocket that he has never revealed yet. We all know he has the ball on strings when he does his crossovers and such & ability to convert around the rim is great. But with that said, Kobe should win this imo. He is probably the most complete offensive player in the L. He can hit everywhere on the court, post up, slash, etc etc. Even with his bum knee, he can still take on anyone in the league. My homer side of me want to say Tyreke all the way but Kobe is a perfect one on one player. Although it will be very close if Tyreke can hit his jumpers and/or defend Kobe well.
Rebuilding the Kings.
