Your chance to design a piece of art for the new downtown Sacramento entertainment and sports complex is running out. The deadline for Think Big Sacramento's Design Competition is Friday at 5 p.m. A reminder of what the competition entails:
Our region's new Entertainment and Sports Complex ("ESC") will be possible only because of the people of the Sacramento region. To honor this contribution, Think BIG is working to ensure that a component of the new complex reflects the public's role. In that spirit, Think BIG announces a new competition to design a public space that will created by YOU and for YOU.
The design competition aspires to:
- facilitate development of a public space at the ESC
- create an iconic symbol of the Sacramento region
- build on the grassroots energy that helped keep the Kings organization in Sacramento
