NBA All-Kings Teams

A few days ago, I exchanged Tweets with Ryan Wolstat, an NBA writer for the Toronto Sun, about the best past/present Kings players who've ever suited up for the Raptors. I then started thinking about other teams, and since it's the lockout and I can't find a way to waste hours of my day doing much else, I complied the starting lineups and reserves for every NBA team, comprised of Kings players.

Obviously, some cases are obvious (ie. Webber was a star on the Wizards), while others are debatable (Turkoglu's Raptors career is considered to be a huge disappointment despite decent numbers). I considered each player's impact on the Kings and his other team(s), so Doug Christie doesn't automatically start for the Clippers, Magic, and Mavs despite all of his accomplishments in Sacramento. I debated leaving Drew Gooden off the list entirely, but he did put up 12 and 13 in his lone game as a King before being bought-out, and has been solid elsewhere. Also, since Jim Jackson and Tony Massenburg were good role players on every NBA team ever, they appear on the list quite a few times.

So, here are the 12-man lineups for each team, with the exception of the Rockets, who've had way too many good ex-Kings and have a 15-man squad. And no, I won't be surprised if no one is interested in this except me.

It’s funny how terrible the Reef and Bibby-led Grizzlies were though, in retrospect. 8-42 in ’99 and 53-161 overall in three years.

I think I'd be more interested in the starting lineups

of teams who GOT Kings players RIGHT AFTERtheir Kings tenure, and not before… I wanna see what we let go. But thats just me. So Webber can only be on the Sixers lineup, not on the Wizards too.

Any takers?
