Spencer Hawes’ turnaround may have sprung from Shawn Kemp’s tutelage
"Hawes is working with a 23.6 mark this season. That's at an All-Star's level. All he needs are about eight more minutes per game for everyone to understand just how big a jump he's made."

How come?
Looks like Spence has started to figure things out. It clearly wasn’t going to happen here with PW (thought it’s hard to overstate the importance of a contract year), why not be happy for the guy?

Plus it took him a year since he left
He was the same guy in Philly last year that he had been here. Do you think that anyone would have been happier with him here and Dalembert there last year…not to mention (guh) Nocioni?

We forget that Spencer is only 23! (yes, his license has been checked)

I'm happy for the guy.
I always knew he was smart, glad he finally figured it out.
Asked if the Kings had any intention of trading Cousins, basketball president Geoff Petrie said, "No."
my advice to Hawes (if he is being mentored by Kemp)
wear a condom
